The problem

Security forces operate in high-pressure environments where communication must be immediate, reliable and secure. Safetroop identified an opportunity to modernise coordination between officers with a mobile tool designed specifically for the police operational context, and needed a development team capable of understanding and resolving the technical and usability requirements of that environment.

Our approach

Dribba developed Connectpol with Flutter, designing the interface specifically for use with gloves and in low-visibility conditions, with large visual elements and minimal action flows. The backend ensures real-time communication between officers, with support for text messages, operational status and team coordination. The app entered a pilot phase with real units.

Connectpol is Safetroop's initiative to modernise operational communication for security forces. The app facilitates real-time coordination between officers during interventions and operations, with an interface designed specifically for the police environment: large elements, fast flows and glove-friendly operation.

Dribba developed the app in Flutter following the specific operational requirements of the context: the interface is designed to be used one-handed, in low-light conditions and under pressure. The backend ensures real-time messaging with status indicators for each officer, communication history and team management. As official Google Flutter Partner, Dribba applied best practices for performance and reliability throughout development.

The app completed a pilot phase with real security units, receiving positive feedback on its usability and reliability. Officer feedback during the pilot was incorporated into successive product iterations, improving key flows.
