FinTech apps with bank-grade security, applied AI and design that converts.

We build financial applications that comply with PSD2, integrate open banking and apply AI to fraud detection, credit scoring and customer support. They pass the security audits of the most demanding IT teams.

  • Hands-on experience with PSD2, open banking, SCA and banking APIs
  • Bank-grade security: certificate pinning, native biometrics, end-to-end encryption
  • Applied AI: real-time fraud detection, LLM-based credit scoring, 24/7 support agents
  • Clients: Rastreator (millions of users), Musky (open banking)

Desafíos del sector

Los problemas de FinTech que entendemos mejor que nadie.

Cada sector tiene sus complejidades específicas. Aquí las que nos encontramos en FinTech y cómo las resolvemos.

🔐

Security and compliance

"We need to certify the app against OWASP and pass the internal security audit."

Certificate pinning, jailbreak detection, end-to-end encryption, SCA and pre-launch penetration testing included on projects that require it.

🏦

Open banking and banking API integration

"We have to connect to 15 different banks, each with its own API and formats."

Experience with TrueLayer, Salt Edge, Plaid and proprietary banking backends. An abstraction layer isolates Flutter from the heterogeneity of those APIs.

📋

KYC and regulated onboarding

"Onboarding has to satisfy KYC, AML and digital identity verification."

Integration of KYC providers (Jumio, Onfido, Veriff), PSD2 consent flows and regulatory documentation handled inside the onboarding itself.

Real-time performance

"Market prices and balances must update in real time without draining the battery."

WebSockets, SSE, optimised background fetching and Flutter architectures with predictive state for high-frequency financial UIs.

Accessibility as a legal requirement

"The app has to meet WCAG 2.1 because the regulator requires it."

Flutter interfaces with complete accessibility semantics, screen-reader support, certified contrast and automated accessibility tests.

🌍

Multi-market and multi-currency

"The product runs in 8 countries with different currencies, languages and regulations."

Internationalised Flutter architectures, business logic separated per jurisdiction, and backends that absorb regulatory differences market by market.

      Guía

Fintech app development in Spain: what the sector demands and how to pick the right agency

Building financial applications in Spain carries a technical and regulatory load no other sector does. Beyond code quality and user experience, a fintech app has to satisfy PSD2 for payment services, MiFID II if it handles financial instruments, AML and KYC standards for money-laundering prevention, and the OWASP Mobile Security requirements that banks' IT teams demand before any integration. Hiring a development agency with no specific experience in that regulatory environment is one of the most expensive mistakes a fintech company can make.

The security requirements of financial apps go well past what a generalist agency implements by default. Certificate pinning to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks, jailbreak and root detection to protect the runtime, encryption of sensitive data at rest — not only in transit — secure handling of authentication tokens and code obfuscation are domain-specific implementations. Omit them and you create vulnerabilities that security auditors find in the first thirty minutes of review. Dribba has delivered financial projects audited by the security teams of multinational banking institutions.

Integration with the European open banking ecosystem is the other critical differentiator. PSD2 obliges banks to expose APIs so that third parties can access account data and payment services with the user's consent. But implementations differ wildly — every bank has its own API version, its own consent handling and its own response times — which makes the integration layer one of the most complex components of any fintech app. We work with aggregators such as TrueLayer, Salt Edge and Plaid to normalise that complexity, and when a client has direct access to banking APIs we build dedicated adapters per institution.

For fintech startups, development has to move as fast as regulation allows. Investors expect a launch six to nine months after the seed round, the market is crowded and time-to-market matters. Dribba combines the speed Flutter gives — a single codebase for iOS and Android, hot reload, short iteration cycles — with the regulatory knowledge to anticipate technical requirements before an auditor flags them. That combination of speed and rigour is what separates a fintech project that ships on time from one that stalls in its last two months of audits.

      Preguntas frecuentes

Las preguntas que hacen los equipos de FinTech.

Yes. We have built financial apps operating under PSD2 for open banking, connecting to bank APIs through ASPSPs. We know the consent flows, strong customer authentication (SCA) and the technical requirements of European financial regulation.

Certificate pinning, jailbreak and root detection, encryption at rest and in transit, secure token handling, native biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID) and code obfuscation. On projects that call for it we run penetration testing before launch.

Yes. We have integrated open banking APIs (TrueLayer, Salt Edge, Plaid), payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen, Redsys), digital identity services and proprietary banking backends.

Fintech projects cost more than consumer apps because of security requirements, compliance and the complexity of banking integrations. A well-scoped fintech MVP starts at €50,000. Full products with open banking, wallet and reporting usually land between €120,000 and €300,000.

Yes. We sign NDAs before any exchange of technical or business information. For fintech projects with sensitive data we adapt repository access and communication tooling to the client's own security standards.

A fintech MVP with authentication, dashboard and two or three banking integrations usually takes four to six months. Full products with several modules — payments, investment, insurance — can take nine to eighteen. Regulatory due diligence is not in the development team's hands.

Yes. Our fintech and insurtech clients include Rastreator (an insurance comparison site with millions of users) and Musky (personal finance with open banking sync). We can share more detail under NDA.
