Desafíos del sector
Cada sector tiene sus complejidades específicas. Aquí las que nos encontramos en Logística y cómo las resolvemos.
"Warehouse staff work in areas with no WiFi or 4G. The app hangs and they lose their work."
Offline-first architectures with local SQLite, operation queues and deferred sync. The app behaves the same with or without a connection, and data syncs automatically once the network returns.
"The TMS is from 2012 and the WMS has a SOAP API nobody documented."
Adapters for SAP TM, Oracle TMS, Manhattan WMS and proprietary systems. Middleware normalises the backend and gives the app a modern REST API regardless of what sits behind it.
"Operators use five-year-old Zebra handhelds. The new app has to run on those devices."
Integration with Zebra's DataWedge SDK, Honeywell scanners, RFID, Bluetooth BLE and industrial IoT sensors. Flutter reaches native hardware through platform channels with the performance mission-critical apps need.
"We do not know where drivers are or the status of a shipment until someone phones in."
Background geolocation, status updates with digital signature, fleet telemetry and webhooks to notify external systems. Every event in a shipment's lifecycle is logged with timestamp and location.
"We run 12 warehouses across 3 countries and each has its own rules and systems."
Multi-tenant architectures with per-warehouse business logic, configurable workflow rules per operation and multi-language support. One app that adapts to the operator's context.
"IT requires Intune deployment, SSO with Azure AD, and the app must not install on personal devices."
Android Enterprise with MDM (Intune, Workspace ONE), SSO via SAML/OAuth2, kiosk mode, single-device policy and publication through Google Play Enterprise for central fleet control.

Guía
Digitalising logistics operations in Spain runs into a paradox: these companies manage global supply chains with modern management software, while their warehouse operators and drivers still coordinate with paper, walkie-talkies and phone calls. The gap is not budget or ambition — it is that most mobile software assumes a network connection that the warehouse floor simply does not have.
Offline mode is the single most decisive technical requirement in logistics apps. Warehouses have WiFi dead zones. Rural delivery routes have intermittent coverage. Containers at port go weeks without connectivity. An app that hangs when it loses the network is not an inconvenience — it stops the operation, and the operator goes back to paper the same afternoon.
Integration with logistics management systems is the other axis of complexity. SAP Transportation Management, Oracle TMS, Manhattan WMS or bespoke systems built in the 2000s are the norm in large Spanish distribution and transport companies. They were not designed to be consumed by a mobile app, so the integration layer is not a detail at the end of the project: it is the decision the schedule hangs on.
Industrial Android devices — Zebra, Honeywell, Point Mobile — are standard hardware in many Spanish warehouses and field operations. They ship specific SDKs for their scanners (DataWedge on Zebra, DataCollection SDK on Honeywell) that a generic app cannot use. Supporting them properly means accepting from day one that the target device is not a modern phone, and designing for a rugged handheld with a small screen, gloves and a shift's worth of battery.
Preguntas frecuentes
Yes. Offline-first is one of the most common requirements in logistics. We implement deferred sync with conflict resolution, encrypted local storage and operation queues, so nothing is lost when the network drops.
Yes. We have integrated apps with SAP Transportation Management, proprietary WMS backends and logistics platform APIs such as Project44 or FourKites. The integration layer with legacy systems is usually the hardest part of the project.
Yes. We have integrated Flutter with Zebra, Honeywell and Symbol scanners through their native SDKs, as well as RFID, QR, Bluetooth BLE and industrial IoT sensors. Flutter reaches that hardware through platform channels.
Corporate SSO (SAML, OAuth2), encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control for operator, supervisor and administrator, audit logs and certificate pinning.
Yes. We build Flutter apps optimised for Android Enterprise: MDM integration (Intune, VMware Workspace ONE), kiosk mode and access to manufacturer enterprise APIs such as Zebra DataWedge.
A driver or warehouse picking app starts at €30,000–€50,000. Fuller apps with TMS/WMS integration, fleet telemetry, digital signature and robust offline support run between €80,000 and €200,000.

“A logistics app that fails offline is not a technical problem. It is an operational stoppage.”
