The challenge
Gym chains have a structural churn problem: members don't leave because of a lack of equipment, but because of a lack of connection. DiR, Catalonia's largest fitness chain, needed a digital tool that would transform the monthly membership fee into belonging to a lifestyle community, directly addressing the root cause of churn.
The solution
Dribba designed and developed a social and matching platform fully integrated into the DiR ecosystem. The app includes real-time chat, interest- and event-based matching, and a social calendar that turns every gym visit into an opportunity for real connection. The experience is designed to feel fluid and organic — used without thinking, like a natural extension of life at the gym.
Results
DiR now has a differentiating tool against competitors: an app that combines fitness and community, capable of converting churn risk into active retention and the monthly fee into an emotional bond with the brand and its members.
